Directions from M74 at Hamilton - Junction 6
Leave M74 at Hamilton exit. At roundabout at traffic lights, take 1st exit and keep in middle lane. At next traffic lights, stay in middle lane and swing round to right. Follow road through other traffic lights and after Duke Street Car Park on left, at next set of traffic lights, take left (there is a filter) and carry straight on up the hill to Strathaven (7 miles - approx 10 minutes). As you approach Strathaven there is a roundabout - go straight through - we are second on the right. The notice at the entrance says "leading to Beechwood Court".
Directions from M74 at Stonehouse - Junction 8
Leave M74 at Junction 8 - A71. At roundabout take 2nd exit - signposted A71 Stonehouse/Strathaven. At next roundabout take 2nd exit -Stonehouse Bypass - carry straight along this road and at end of Bypass take 2nd exit and carry straight on to Strathaven (approx 5 mins.). As you enter Strathaven you will see a ruined Castle on the left, take road going up the hill on the right, opposite the Castle.Follow this road to its junction with the main road and once more turn right. Hamilton Road is first on the left and the Hotel is fourth on the left along this road. The notice at the entrance says "leading to Beechwood Court".
Directions from East Kilbride
Take A726 to Strathaven. When you enter the town, the Golf Club is on your left, carry straight on to the traffic lights and take left. Follow the road up the hill and take 2nd left, signposted to Hamilton. The Hotel is 4th left along this road.
Directions from Ayrshire
From Kilmarnock take A71 to Hurlford, then to Glaston. Newmilns and Darvel. Keep on A71 to Strathaven. On entering 30 mph limit take 1st left. Go through 1st set of traffic lights, and at second set turn right (to Hamilton). Take second left - Hamilton Road - and Hotel is 4th left along this road.
Directions from Glasgow Airport
On leaving Airport join M8 eastbound (Glasgow Centre/Edinburgh) then follow signs for Carlisle. After about 13 miles follow M73 to M74 and take sign for Hamilton - Junction 6 - and follow route as above.
Directions from Prestwick Airport
From Airport take A77 to Glasgow. At Kilmarnock take A71 to Hurlford/Edinburgh. Follow A71 through Hurlford and then directions above from Ayrshire.
